Anosmia
Anosmia is the complete loss of the sense of smell due to damage to the olfactory mucosa or the absence of an olfactory bulb (congenital anosmia).
Ageusia
Ageusia is the absence of the sense of taste. It is a quantitative disorder of the perception of taste, as opposed to dysgeusia, which is a qualitative disorder.
Parosmia
Parosmia is an olfactory perception that does not correspond to stimulation. The subject confuses smells, for example perceiving a foul odour when presented with a perfume.
